On this project, the customer wanted to make this builder constructed basement more livable. They wanted a area for the kids to play and do homework, one for everyone to watch tv together, one to work out, a bathroom, and lots of book storage.

I rebuilt the frame work to remove the poles, then I divided the room into three separate areas.

One side has a built in desk for the kids to do homework and space to play.

The center area is the media area with full surround sound and a full articulating tv mount along with backlighting.

The final area is the workout space that will fit a treadmill, weight bench and yoga mat.

I removed the carpeted stairs and installed finished treads and risers.

In the recessed area, to the right is a full closet with custom shelves and a cat door for the litterbox, to the left a large half bath with macerating toilet.
