This is a beautiful home that we remodeled 4 baths and upgraded the kitchen.
It appears the builder or client ran short of funds as the home was nearing completion.
Very low grade tile, tubs and cabinets.

House on the Hill Nashville

I met this client, who purchased a home built in 1973. Inside the home she found the original drawings that appear to be Frank-Lloyd Wright inspired (no author).
Whoever built the home did not complete it.
We gutted the property, then added to the right, left, and the front to complete the original design. 
We also added a two story Art Barn and a whole house generator system. 
I chose to take on this project with this client because I have always looked for someone who is willing to step out of their comfort zone and willing to go for it. 
Plus I enjoy a challenge and this house fulfilled both of those. 
In the main house we went from 3,000 sqft to 6,200 sqft. 
We also removed the original 9ft. main room ceilings and went full vaulted with many angles. 
Enjoy the many variations, this one took a full year to complete.

This is a ranch home that had flooding underneath the house, which ruined all of the flooring with mildew. When I met with the customer, she said she always dreamed of an open floor plan so we decided since we were doing all of the construction, let's go for it.

Ranch Makeover

This is a Ranch home with a full basement, lakeside, Nashville TN. 
In this design, we took the normal ranch hallway and using some creative framing, we were able to remove the hallway, which gave us enough room for a full shower and half bath.
We removed full windows and installed transom windows in the half bath and master closet. 
We kept the old sunroom addition and turned it into the formal dining area. 
We installed large panel windows with crank out to 90 degrees. 
In the basement we removed all of the low ceilings and installed the A/C systems along the back wall which allowed the floorplan to be open and a full 8ft.

Bad Contractor Takeover

Here, I was called in to take over a flip for sale. The unlicensed, uninsured and unbinded contractor had been there for 3.5 weeks doing little more than causing damage.
Folks, this is a classic example for doing your research on someone before you hire. Please check and make sure they are licensed and insured, and check references.  This "contractor" has a facebook page, a yard sign and a lot of talk with little action.
We took over, fixed the "contractor" mistakes, and finished the home in three weeks.
This home has been on the market for three days and has multiple offers.

Basement remodel

On this project, the customer wanted to make this builder constructed basement more livable. They wanted a area for the kids to play and do homework, one for everyone to watch tv together, one to work out, a bathroom, and lots of book storage.
I rebuilt the frame work to remove the poles, then I divided the room into three separate areas.
 One side has a built in desk for the kids to do homework and space to play.
The center area is the media area with full surround sound and a full articulating tv mount  along with backlighting.
The final area is the workout space that will fit a treadmill, weight bench and yoga mat.
I removed the carpeted stairs and installed finished treads and risers.
In the recessed area, to the right is a full closet with custom shelves and a cat door for the litterbox, to the left a large half bath with macerating toilet.

1895 kitchen

This is a home built in 1885 in Nashville. The kitchen is part of an old shed style addition with cabinets from around 1960.
We want to keep the feel of the home, but give it the modern conveniences the homeowner deserves.
Notable Items here are the led lighting, leathered granite, and the chalkboard backsplash for guest to sign! 
The final two photos shows the house and the siding we replaced with a Japanese wood approved by the historic society.

Granite Bathroom

On this bath, the customer wanted to keep the vanities and mirrors. I wanted to incorporate the granite into the shower to tie everything together.
I also wanted to install an upper curb to add appeal to the shower and make the shower upgradable to a steam shower.

Condo update, before/after tight budget

This downtown nashville area condo built in 1983 was due a facelift. We ran this on a very tight budget.
We moved the kitchen door to make room for a proper kitchen, lowered mantle to make room for tv. We also reused the bath cabinets to save money. We sanded and painted top to bottom.
